I just read an interesting article on executive stress and burnout coaching.  What’s interesting is that it avoids the typical “suck it up and bear it” approach.  Even stress management tips like meditate or breath deep are basically telling you that you must suffer the stress. 

But the reality is that until you destroy the stressor, you will always have the stress.

An Interesting Approach To Worry And Stress

Most stress management programs help you deal with the worry and anxiety that accompanies stress.  They think that what to do to relieve stress is meditation, deep breathing, yoga, exercise, and stuff like that.   They focus on the “I worry too much” aspect.  But have you ever seen a stress management system that tells you to worry MORE??!!
