Multi tasking the right way: How to Delegate

Posted by stressjudo on December 27, 2012

As we have seen, true multi tasking is working on one task while another task is completing.  Essentially, the computer delegates a task to another device or another section of the computer and works on something else until that first task signals that it is done.  So, for you to multi-task (instead of just juggling tasks badly), you need to learn to delegate.

The most well-known type of delegating a task is to delegate it to someone else.  You can also delegate it to yourself.

Finish this at stress management.

How Can I Fight Stress? Like A Champion

Posted by stressjudo on September 11, 2011

I have always taken an aggressive approach to stress and specifically, to eliminating it.  I got this from my early training in martial arts.   The goal of martial arts is to be in a state of peaceful-coexistence with your neighbor.  If your neighbor is attacking you, then the goal shifts to getting to the state of peaceful-coexistence as quickly and efficiently as possible.

So I have applied this to stressful situations.  When you are under stress, the goal is to get to a stress-free situation as quickly and efficiently as possible.   The typical approaches to stress management – meditation, exercise, taking a long walk – simply do not do this.   They are components of how to get there.  But, a black belt martial artist will not rely only on his devastating right hook or his crushing left thigh kick, but instead has an arsenal of techniques to draw upon.

Just so, handling stress is not only about feeling stress-free. It is about being stress-free.   And the best way to do that is to get rid of the stress, by personal, high-quality stress management coaching.

So the answer to “how can I fight stress?”  Stress Judo Coaching.   With 3 exclusive reports, showing you our proprietary system for immediate stress reduction.  For your FREE coaching session, click on CONTACT US.

Family Money Management And Stress Management With A Realistic Budget

Posted by stressjudo on August 28, 2010

A major and consistent source of stress for most people is money.  Well, actually the stress is caused by spending more money than they bring in or have.  The answer to this is simple: spend less.  Yeah, and the answer to losing weight is spend more calories than you eat.  So let’s come up with a plan for realistic family money management and hopefully get rid of some of that stress with a realistic budget.
1. Do NOT make the traditional “money in, money out” budget.  This may help you understand the problem, and show you where you are spending money that you shouldn’t.  But the problem is that defining the budget this way is what governments do, and you know how hard it is for THEM to cut anything out.

Interesting Article On Executive Stress And Burnout Coaching

Posted by stressjudo on July 27, 2010

I just read an interesting article on executive stress and burnout coaching.  What’s interesting is that it avoids the typical “suck it up and bear it” approach.  Even stress management tips like meditate or breath deep are basically telling you that you must suffer the stress.

But the reality is that until you destroy the stressor, you will always have the stress.

This article on Executive Stress And Burnout Coaching takes a real aggressive approach to attacking and eliminating stress.  I highly recommend you read it.

Executive Leadership Coaching – Making The Most Of It

Posted by stressjudo on June 24, 2010

If you are going to go for executive leadership coaching, you need to make sure it sticks.  See, many companies that say they offer “coaching” offer only a 1 day or 2 day seminar 0n goal setting and teamwork.  Or they come in and kibbitz your project and then give you crappy little saying about leadership.

What you want is coaching that will develop your leadership.   Or coaching that you can pass on to your team, to develop leaders.   But without having to pay a consultant hundreds of dollars an hour to do it.

Try STRESS JUDO Black Belt stress management training.  A black belt in a martial art is someone who can identify the areas that he or she needs to work on, and is trained to train himself or herself.  In other words, the coaching of a black belt develops someone who is self-coaching as well as coach to others.

This is the model that STRESS JUDO is based on.   Mastering stress and staying calm and focused under pressure is probably the first trait that people think of when they identify a leader.   Now, that person can be YOU!

Look at STRESS JUDO as the beginning of your executive leadership coaching.  Everyone around you will thank you.
